The painting from Angel Witch's 1980 debut album, Angel Witch, cut into a triangle. The cover uses The Fallen Angels Entering Pandemonium, a painting formerly attributed to John Martin: a burning landscape under a yellow sky. Released on Bronze Records, the album is widely seen as a key record of the new wave of British heavy metal, and this design is for anyone who starts every playlist with it.
Design
- Front: Arched white blackletter Angel Witch above a triangle cut from the burning red and yellow landscape painting on the band's debut album cover, edged in yellow.
